The Way of the Knight is inspired by the Knight’s Tour, a centuries-old chess puzzle in which the knight travels across the board, visiting every square exactly once.
What appears to be an unpredictable sequence of moves gradually reveals an intricate geometric path — transforming movement, logic, and repetition into a visual composition.
Monochrome
The Monochrome interpretation allows the knight’s path to emerge through continuity, subtle tonal transitions, light, and shadow. Without contrasting wood tones, the geometry itself becomes the dominant expression of the composition.
