Our Story
Where Architecture Meets Making
SAVARONA Studio was born from a shared interest in architecture, design, materials, and the process of making things by hand.
With architectural experience at the foundation of our approach, we see geometry not simply as decoration, but as a way of creating proportion, rhythm, balance, and movement. What began as an exploration of layered wood gradually developed into a growing collection of objects that move between art, design, and craftsmanship.
Based in Vancouver, we design and make our pieces with a hands-on approach from concept to production. Digital design and laser-cutting technology give us precision, while natural wood introduces something technology cannot control completely: variation. Grain, tone, texture, and the character of each sheet become part of the final composition.
Beyond Wall Art
SAVARONA began with layered wall art, but the idea was never limited to the wall.
The same design language can move into mirrors, furniture, spatial elements, functional objects, and pieces made simply for the pleasure of interaction and play. What connects them is not a product category, but a way of thinking — exploring how geometry, material, and craftsmanship can transform familiar objects into something distinctive.
Designed to Be Lived With
We believe the objects around us influence how a space feels and how we experience it.
Our aim is not simply to make more objects, but to create pieces with character — pieces that invite a closer look, reveal new details over time, and bring visual interest and enjoyment into the spaces they inhabit.
SAVARONA continues to evolve through experimentation, new materials, new scales, and new ideas.
